This was my first paying job after Art School. A guy I worked with in construction (can’t remember his name) was starting a new fence company, and he needed some identity pieces to get business rolling. Back then, it was pretty simple: stationery, some projectable drawings for trucks, whodunit sign for finished installations, reflective art for the T-shirt printer, and an exterior sign for the business location.
I think I got $150 for the whole enchilada, and I did a press check and spent some time with the sign maker. All was based on hand-drawn reflective mechanical art and written specifications, no do-overs. This guy probably got the deal of the last century, no?
